What happened to the SDS program?

The Student Direct Stream (SDS) was discontinued on November 8, 2024. All students now apply through the regular study permit process to ensure equal and fair access for everyone. Processing time from India is now 6-8 weeks.

Can I work while studying in Canada?

Yes! International students can work up to 20-24 hours per week during studies and full-time during scheduled breaks without needing a separate work permit.

How easy is it to get PR in Canada after studies?

Canada has one of the easiest PR pathways. After completing studies and getting 1 year of Canadian work experience through PGWP, you can apply through Express Entry or Provincial Nominee Programs with high success rates.

Which is better: PG Diploma or Masters in Canada?

Both lead to 3-year PGWP. PG Diplomas are shorter (1-2 years), more affordable, and practical. Masters are longer (2 years), research-focused, and better for academic careers. For PR, both are equally good.
